This will be us on New Y ears Eve, if we are still up at Midnight it will be a miracle. We have decided to treat it like a big holiday, and are having a Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings, so on New Years Day, we can have left overs. It is amazing but as you age, going out with alot of people on the street does not appeal to us. My dream New YEars Eve would be one of those big parties at a Hotel that you see in the old movies.

Where you get dressed up, eat dinner, dance and ring in the New Year with people you do not know which to us makes it even more fun. I am going to let you know are New Years Eve as a couple.

2003- Yantic River Inn- Went to dinner, they had (2) of the worse duo perform, at the ages of 39 and 34 we were the youngest people there the average age being 65 and UP. They gave us hats, horns and we danced, sang to make it better ( we are both tone-deaf and it seemed better), then at midnight all the older women came over to get kisses from Stephen. We laughed and had such a good time it was incredible.

2004-Yantic River Inn- no musicially group, but we still had a good dinner, split a bottle of wine and champagne, with the Money I won at the Casino the night before, then at Midnight, had a ringing in from the TV and went home and relaxed the next day.

2005- Just us, new to Charlotte, Stephen had to work late at the Book Store, so he came home we rang in the new year and was in bed by 12:10am.

2006- Had our new couple friends over for dinner, Foundue and Games. WE had so much fun we almost missed the ball drop in Times Square on TV, ended up playing until about 1am, it was a really good time.

This year, so far just the two of us because again in a new place, and do not have any friends as of yet. Luckily, we love it being just the two of us, as of March it will be 3 years we have been married, but sometimes we act like we are still newlyweds. I will let you know what we are doing.

Everyone have a Wonderful and Safe New Years, it will be interesting to see what 2008 brings.
