Upset about Project Runway "Designer Ven"
At the beginning of the series I thought he was a pompos a** but he had the talent to back it up.
Then this week, he got a chance to work with a real size person, and instead of embracing it, he was a total dirtbag. How dare you talk to a client, by saying you are too big? Seriously? Then you b**** to the camera and anyone who will listent that you got the bigget client and could not work with it.
A designer is suppose to have the talent to create anything for anyone. Who does he think is going to buy his clothes only the Stick thin 1% of the population?
Even Vera Wang has clothes for the every woman and she actually has talent. I was so upset, I am a size 14 and if anyone talked to me the way he did I would of popped in the N***!
It was suppose to be a boost for these women and he failed! I wish he went home.

When I was a little girl, I loved the show "Family Affair" and my favorite character was this doll that Buffy always had Mrs. Beasley. One Christmas I begged my mom for one, and she did get me my own Mrs. Beasley doll. It went everywhere with me, I am sure if we found it today somewhere in my parents cellar it would be very well used and missing things. To me she was my best friend.
This Sunday, we were in a Thift Store and I found one in this box, No I did not buy it but I had to take a picture! I am sending this out to everyone who wants to remember all the good things from your childhood. This brings back a flood of emotions and how much fun it was to be a little girl and have a doll you loved go everywhere with you! Do kids even have dolls anymore?
Mrs. Beasley was the best ever! I even had a little buffy doll that she held so cool!!

Last night, I watched the Olympics, and was so impressed with Gabby Douglas. I could not stay awake to see if she took the Gold, which we all know by now she did. Congratulations to Gabby! This girl who is just 16 has so much concentration it was incredible to watch.
It must be overwhelming to be participating in your chosen sport in front of the World and to be so young and to keep it together to reach your dreams! I always love watching the Olympics but for me it is Swimming ( my sport) and Gymnastics which I was awful at, all I could do was the vault and not very well, my sister was on the Gymnastics team and I always am amazed on the Beam.
Really, a little skinny beam and do flips on it and not fall off REALLY? Who invented this balance beam and said now fly off of it and land in one movement? Torture to me, but she made it look so easy..
I just want to say, so glad to be an American and to watch such a glorious performance by such a young girl.
